#TuesdayTrivia: Abhishek Bachchan made it to the Guinness Book of World records not once but twice – read details!
Today is Abhishek Bachchan's birthday and it's time to dig up something about this actor that not many are aware of. Abhishek has been one of the most underrated actors in Bollywood. He deserves much better roles than he is being offered. But that's something we can discuss later. What we are here to tell you is Abhishek was on the Guinness Book of World Records not once but twice. Once he had his father Amitabh Bachchan for company while on another occasion, he was enough to pick up his prestigious record. We will tell you about both of them.
For Paa, Abhishek and Amitabh became the only father-son duo to play reversed roles in a film. Abhishek played the father of his father i.e. Big B who essayed the role of a person suffering from progeria. He played a 12-year-old child who is going through this acute condition. In fact, Vidya Balan who played AB's mother was 37 years old. Amitabh was apparently 65 years old when he played the character of Auro in the film. Paa won Abhishek a National Award as well. He picked up the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi as a producer.
Now coming to his solo entry into the records, it happened back when Delhi 6 was ready for release. Abhishek visited the EDM Mall in Ghaziabad, Spice at Noida, Crown Plaza in Faridabad, Select Citywalk, Ambience Mall and Central Mall in Chandigarh and Shoppers' Stop in Juhu in Mumbai. And all that in just 12 hours. He defeated Will Smith in the same category who had done three press events in 2 hours. Speaking about it, Abhishek had told IANS, "I equalled the existing record at approximately 5 pm on Sunday. How do I feel? On top of the world. It always feels good to do something that goes beyond what's already been done."
Now you know why we call him the most underrated Bollywood personality!
